Activities

The Samoa Land Corporation (SLC) was established in 1990 to manage and divest 24,000 acres of land formerly owner by the Western Samoa Trust Estates Corporation.

The overall goal of the Corporation is to divest its assets on a commercial basis, to assist with the promotion of socio-economic development opportunities for the people of Samoa and generate revenue for Government.

SLC is governed by a board of directors that is responsible to the Minister of Public Enterprises.

Vision and Mission

SLC’s vision is “to ensure current and future generations of Samoa benefit from the sustainable management of all SLC assets”. Its mission is “to promote social and economic development opportunities for the people of Samoa, through the efficient and effective use of all Corporations’ assets”.
